Advanced Legal Software was established in 1990, around the time that the North Carolina Child Support Guidelines were changed to the "Income Shares" model that is used today. Attorneys and Judges needed a quick and easy way to accurately calculate Child Support Payment for their clients based on the new Guidelines, so we created the first computer-based Child Support Software program for use in North Carolina.

We began our company in Raleigh, NC, but moved the company to Salisbury, NC in 1995. In August, 2002, we moved the company once again to Carolina Beach, NC, where our offices are now located (what can we say... we love the beach!)

Since our inception, we have added many more software programs that are used by numerous Attorneys and Judges through the state. Most of our software programs automated commonly used AOC forms. Our clients enjoy using our automated forms, because they are resident on their PC or network, easy to use, and are designed to save all case information. In other words, THEY SAVE TIME!

Advanced Legal Software now offers our clients the ability to subscribe to only the software programs they need, instead of having to subscribe to a group of programs. This new price structure goes into effective immediately.

A NEW WAY TO PRODUCE AND PRINT FORMS!

Early versions of our software programs displayed a "Print" button at the top of each form. When the user clicked on this button, the form would be sent to the printer, complete with the data entered by the user. Recently, we have changed the printing process. We have replaced the "Print" button with a "Produce Form" button. When clicked, this button will produce an Adobe Acrobat (PDF) document that provides more flexitility to the user. Once produced, it may be either printed or saved to a client file for future use.
